The moment Kim Kardashian`s makeup artist spoke about this powder ladies went crazy all over. Usually when you hear setting powder you immediately think of this one because it has become so popular lately. Some people may think it`s overrated but I`m pretty impressed with it and I couldn`t be happier I bought into the hype. I`ve always been very leery about trying setting powders because they`re typically stark white. I know they`re translucent but when you have a darker complexion it`s pretty easy to end up looking ashy. Not to mention, if you have dry skin setting powders can make your skin look even more dry, cakey and powdery. Because of this I was on the fence about trying banana powder. But it`s great for women of color and ladies with dry skin! The powder is so finely milled that the texture feels silky smooth and just glides onto the skin. It doesn`t feel or look dry at all. The yellow tint is absolutely wonderful for women of color. It instantly brightens and still looks very natural. I could use it as an all over powder but I prefer to use it to set my concealer. It sets very well and helps prevent creasing. It`s also very natural looking. It gives a nice matte finish and looks like I have nothing on. I`m surprised it only costs $8 considering how wonderful it is! I was using Elf`s HD setting powder (which is really nice too) but I like this one waaay better. It`s just a much better fit for me. If you haven`t tried banana powder already I highly suggest you head over to http://makeupmania.com or http://camerareadycosmetics.com and order a bottle. I promise you won`t regret it!
