Here is a snapshot of my late lunch/early dinner that I got at a local noodle place. I ended up eating here at the suggestion of a co-worker.
The restaurant is located inside a Asian strip mall, and is pretty nondescript, but my friend promised me a cheap but delicious meal.
They have a tiny menu with only a handful of items, so if you want variety, this isn`t ideal.
The menu is basically noodles and soup, with Shrimp wontons, beef or fish balls as your choice of protein. They also have a vegetarian option, or you can get combos of any of the above.
All the dishes are around 5 or 6 dollars. I ended up with the beef Lo mein., but I added a side of steamed Chinese Broccoli with oyster sauce (my favourite!) to share with my co-worker. The Chinese broccoli was a great pairing with the super tender beef. My co-worker opted for shrimp wonton soup. I didn`t get a picture, but the Wontons were HUGE: at least the size of a golf ball! Our entire meal was around 13 dollars, which is a pretty sweet deal!
I am totally going to head back and have some wontons next time: they looked to delicious to pass up.
