Beautys Diner in Montreal Turkey Burger
I already posted about the Beautys Special and Beautys Luncheonette in Montreal.
One of my cousins, being a huge foodie, is obsessed with Anthony Bourdain, who is a world-renowned chef. He is known for his show No Reservations, where he travels across the globe in search of different types of cuisine. His latest show is called The Layover where he attempts to sample a citys cuisine in the time he is spending there for a layover between flights (so usually under 24 hours). One of the stops he made on the episode where he is in Montreal was a place called Beautys Luncheonette.
That is why my cousin insisted to we go there. Initially we were supposed to go there for breakfast before a day of shopping and sightseeing, but unfortunately, we had some bad luck since someone smashed our car window during the night. Long story short, we didnt get there until well after lunch time, and we were all starving. My cousin really wanted to try the Beautys Special and had been raving about it for the whole trip, so I agreed to split it with him. But we both knew were were still going to be hungry, especially after such an eventful morning :| So while he ordered an omelette, I decided to try a Turkey Burger.
The burger was delish! The ground turkey was cooked on a flat top so it got all nice and crispy along the outside, and it came with an order of home fries as well. But the best part was the home made pickles I asked for on the side. Personally, I cant eat a burger, turkey or otherwise, without pickles, and these were sooo yummy. Turns out, they are homemade and absolutely worth it! My cousins all ended up finish all my pickles so we ordered more LOL AMAZING!
Im glad my cousin insisted we try out this place. It was definitely worth it!
