The "No Makeup" makeup look is not actually what people usually think it is, in reality it takes a lot of makeup to accomplish this look. This look is mainly made up of contouring, and correcting.
Contouring by shading in places like the jaw line, the hollows of the cheeks, temples and the sides of the nose with a bronzer or darker powder. Then to make these shadows pop you have to highlight in the corresponding areas like the tops of the cheeks, in the T zone (only very lightly on the forehead), and just above the jaw line with a lighter powder, that can have some shimmer but don`t over do it because it can highlight you pores and make them look enlarged.
Correcting is just about find any discoloration in the skin and toning it down, not necessarily completely covering it up because that can start too look very heavy as it takes a lot of product. The main discolorations your looking for are under eye circles and redness from things like dry skin, or acne.
I like to add a few other touches like a highlight in the inner corner of the eye, a slight definition in the crease, and a glossy neautral lip. While this look in actuality takes quite a bit of work, it also take a light hand, subtlety is the name of the game in this look. <3
