My friend ordered the BBQ Pork Lo Mein Noodles and since she also had a soup, salad, prawn and walnut entree with rice, she couldn`t finish this and shared it with me since I wasn`t enjoying my half rack of ribs that I ordered.
I`m not a fan of lo mein noodles, I`m not sure what about it that I don`t like but I just don`t but it tasted way better than my ribs. I wish the bbq pork wasn`t cut into such small pieces though because you can hardly taste the meat. Instead of the bean sprouts I wish they used greens instead but nonetheless the entree was still good and very affordable.
This huge dish that can basically serve two or three was only $9. It was served with hot sauce but I didn`t eat it since I can`t tolerate heat that much (depends on the food).
By the way what`s the difference between lo mein and chow mein? Well lo mein are more softer noodles whereas chow mein it`s more crispy BUT the main reason is how the noodles are prepared. Lo mein are tossed noodles whereas chow mein are fried. They`re both egg noodles though.
