A couple weekends ago my boyfriend and I needed something for dinner. But what were we going to have? We did not have anything out to cook, so since I wasn`t necessarily in the mood to be in the kitchen, my boyfriend suggested we just have something quick, easily and simple. Since I did not want take-out, I opted to grab something while picking up some necessities for the house at the market. I ended up getting some of the Perdue pre cooked grilled chicken cuts. I then grabbed some whole wheat flax seed tortilla wraps and some peppers and onions. After finishing up my shopping I went home and sauteed my peppers and onions with a little black pepper and hot cayenne pepper. I removed my peppers and onions from the stove and then heated thru the chicken slices.
I loaded up the tortilla wraps with chicken, peppers and onions, sliced lettuce and tomato. Instead of using salsa I used BBQ sauce! It was actually quite good and different. It reminded me of the snack wraps at McDonalds -- just a lot healthier for you. I will make these again sometime.
