Hello Everyone I am in the middle of doing a bathroom face-lift. I don`t have the money to remodel so, a little paint and elbow grease can go a long way with what I am tying to do.
In the photo of my sink area with the salt goblets is my old NASTY looking faucet. I found a tutorial on how to paint them and off I went. I sanded it down and taped it off, I used Rust Oleum hammered spray paint in a black color. It took about to coats but I am very happy with the way it turned out.
Next I turned to my door knob and thought what the heck, I went after that too with my spray paint. I had some left over and I painted the wooden frame and had some left over zebra fabric and hung that on the wall. I also removed my switch plate and painted that.
My shower doors are up next and I will be painting them the same color, I`ll hand some decorative curtains in front of them also. Not to sure. I will be painting my wood cabinets white also. I really love the look of white and black in a bathroom.
I know I need to do the cocking around my sink area and that is also on my to do list. This bathroom hasn`t received an update since the early 80`s.
Any ideas or suggestions would be wonderful!
