Banh Tieu (Hollow Breads) - Vietnamese

Banh Tieu is a great snack to eat when your mouth is itching for something to munch.

Banh Tieu is made of flour, yeast, water, sugar, baking powder, salt, and sesame seeds. Ingredients are fairly simple, after everything is mixed you just deep fry them until they are golden brown. I usually eat these plain because they`re so much better like that. But as you can see in the photo, the center is hollow so you can feel free to put anything you want in it when you cut them open and eat them at home. Stores and restaurants just sell them plain.

Have you tried Banh Tieu before?
