Some of my bananas went overripe recently, so I froze them before I could go bad. I recalled a bunch of smoothie recipes I had seen using frozen bananas, so I decided to try one of my own. :) This is quite a sweet smoothie, and is probably best as a dessert (which is what I had it for!).
Here`s what I used to make this smoothie:
<strong><ul><li>1 medium frozen banana</li>
<li>1 cup milk</li>
<li>1 1/2 tbsp natural smooth peanut butter</li>
<li>1 tbsp cocoa powder</li>
Just throw all the ingredients in a blender, and blend till smooth. And that`s it! I actually found this smoothie to be VERY sweet. The banana was overripe, so that was likely why, as I didn`t add any sugars or sweeteners to the smoothie. I`m not sure if I should add more cocoa powder next time to cut the sweetness, or if I should just not use an overripe banana, lol! I guess I`ll have to do a few test drives and see what works best. :)
