Anyone close to me knows that I am obsessed with banana flavored desserts. I can`t get enough of banana bread, banana, muffins, chocolate covered bananas, banana everything!!!
Best way to prepare banana desserts? Have a really ripe banana. The more ripe the banana is, the more natural sweetness you will have in your dessert. This will be great because you can avoid adding any extra sweeteners into your dessert (which helps cut down on the calories).
My go to recipe that I use:
3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons of raw honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
Toss it all together and mix well, before transferring into a loaf pan. Then, bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and you`ll start smelling the deliciousness.
