Ive been getting back into smoothies the past week and I made myself a banana, mixed berry smoothie the other day. I like smoothies because it takes something simple like a yogurt and transforms it into this hearty almost meal. This particular blended smoothie was quite yummy and filling. I started off by putting 6 ice cubes in the bottom of my blender, a Dannon Light & Fit banana flavored yogurt, a whole peeled banana, a dash if cinnamon, 2 Splenda packets, 2 handfuls of mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries) and about ¼ cup cold water. I blended it all up in the blender and poured into a large cup. With the fruit in the smoothie it made it really filling once in my belly!
