First of all, I`m all about these Balea masks. I buy them on trips to Shoppers all the time, for $2 it`s fun and relaxing to do a mask at home while studying or doing my nails. Sometimes, to be honest, they don`t make too much of a difference beyond what you`d usually see after cleansing and moisturizing, so I`m always experimenting to see which ones I like the best.
This mask comes in two parts; an exfoliating treatment with fruit acid AHAs and microbeads that you are supposed to massage onto your sking for two minutes and then leave on for ten to fifteen. It says not to put it on your eye or lip area, so I teamed it with my Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle crean around my eyes, and my RoC Endryial repairing lip treatment.
Then you rinse it off with warm water, and follow it up with Step 2, the Perfecting Cream.
I just followed these steps on myself and I must say that I am impressed! My skin looks smooth, even, and glowing. I definitely noticed a difference as soon as I washed my face, and the cream just made it feel perfectly hydrated, it absorbed very nicely and doesn`t feel greasy now at all. There was a lot more cream in the package than I needed for my face, so I just massaged in into my hands, neck and decollete. You could probably save some of it in the fridge or something if you`re thrifty like that.
I`m only 23, so obviously wrinkles aren`t my priority, but I noticed a real difference in my skin after using this! This may in fact be my favourite so far of the Balea masks, although I will still continue to experiment.
If you live in Canada and can pick one of these masks up at your local Shoppers Drug Mart I would definitely recommend it! Perfect for your next spa day.
