BAKING: From-Scratch Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins!

it suddenly got really chilly today and i decided to bake again to make the house feel a little warmer. it`s normally really hard for me to bake during the summer months because we already have to have AC running in the house and the heat from the oven is really counterproductive. but since it was so chilly today...

i just made chocolate chip banana bread and that was finished up in a jiffy! we happened to have two bananas still left in our house and i had leftover chocolate chips too, so i decided to make chocolate chip banana muffins this time around.

i followed the recipe in the source link with two exceptions:
- i only had 1/4 cup sugar left so i substituted half a cup of artificial sweetener. i would`ve done this anyways just to make them a little lower calorie.
- i didn`t have plain yogurt so i used nonfat milk instead.

the muffins turned out really well! they have that distinctive banana taste to them. i had two of them already lol i`m going to refrigerate the leftovers and bake them in the toaster oven for a bit in the mornings so i can have them again and again for breakfast. that way, the chocolate chips can melt perfectly again :)
