This afternoon we went to Bakery Nakamura in Japan Town. A family friend has given us cakes from this bakery but we`ve never been there ourselves. That time I had a slice of their Green Tea Red Bean cake and it was pretty delicious. At this bakery, if you buy a cake or 6+ slices, there`s no tax. The first photo is Rare Cheesecake. I didn`t know what that was while at the bakery, but from researching online I found out that is what they call a no bake cheesecake in Japan. The second one is Souffle Cheesecake. The third photo is Tiramisu. The fourth photo is White Chocolate Green Tea cake, and we bought two of them. The last one is an English Trifle. Each slice is $4.80 and the English Trifle is $4 making it $28 for 6 pieces which is expensive compared to slices of cakes at other bakeries but I think these portions may be larger. I haven`t tried any yet but they all look delicious. Although I didn`t get it this time, if I go to there again, I want to try the Tofu Cheesecake. I remember Cooking with Dog shared the recipe so if it`s good, I`ll try making it at home.
