These Color Tattoo 24 hour cream eye shadows have been all the craze as of late. Im sure youve seen all the posts on LUUUX and even talks about these products on Twitter and even YouTube. I purchased one of these because I wasnt entirely sure if I was going to love them. I swatched this one on my arm and ended up going out and picking up another and since I had a whole lot of ECBs I went out and picked up 3 more which I havent tried yet. Truth be told I really do enjoy these products. The color payoff is really great, the texture is creamy to the touch, but once it sets on your lid it stays but may feel slightly tacky to the touch if you touch it. I havent found this particular color to fade, but what I have found is that with my hooded eyelids, the color tends to wear in the areas where they are naturally creased due to my natural lids. Its not the products fault and Im not saying that, I even find with regular eye shadows this happens sometimes, but with cream shadows it can sometimes be a little more noticeable. Not terribly noticeable, to the naked eye you cant tell, but with a camera in HD right up in your face you can tell LOL.
Bad to the Bronze is a gorgeous medium to deep shimmery bronze color. Very true to the name of the product. It does wear rather shimmery/metallic, so if youre not into that sort of thing you may not completely love this particular color. Application is very easy, you can either apply it just with your fingertip (which is what I tend to do) or you can use a brush to apply. I know a lot of people are saying these are a substitute for MAC Paint Pots, but since I dont have any of those in my personal collection. I will say these REALLY remind me of the Mary Kay Cream Eye Colors (http://www.marykay.com/color/eyes/creameyecolor/default.aspx). I own Apricot Twist, which is very similar in color to Bold Gold by Maybelline. These are as pigmented and creamy as the Mary Kay shadows and are less in price. Overall, I LOVE this particular color and think its fabulous.
Have you picked up any Color Tattoos in your beauty travels? Do you like cream eye shadows or do you tend to stay away from them? Images are mine do not take or use. Thank you. makeup beauty
