I was going to make Vietnamese pancakes with the bacon but we didn`t have the mix at home. So I decided to make Kale chips flavored with bacon.
2 strips of bacon
one bundle of kale
Preheat oven to 350
Cook the bacon and save the bacon fat to flavor the kale.
Remove kale leaves from the stem and rip into small bite sized pieces. Put the bite sized pieces in a bowl and mix with some olive oil. Make sure the leaves are well covered with the oil.
Separate the leaves on a baking sheet and sprinkle some bacon fat on each leaf. Pop into the oven at 350 for 15-25 minutes or until the leaves are crispy.
