Bacalhau à Moliceiro

Also in Serra da Estrela there is a beautiful place near our village that we usually went when we are there which is the Guarda Rios restaurant (means Guard Rivers and the name is inspired in a famous bird from there you can see it in the plate).

From time to time the menu of the restaurant is changing and this time we chose Bacalhau à Moliceiro by recommendation of the owner. This dish is served into a corn bread and has codfish, carrots and courgette I cant say about the rest but by our photo you can imagine how it was so delicious, right?!

We also eat braised pork cheeks with potatoes that were really delicious but we forgot to take photos!

Fortunately Portugal is a country where you can eat really good stuff and has many nice places to eat!

The menu includes starters, main dish, desserts and coffee for less than 20 which I think is a nice price considering the place!
