i was really pleasantly surprised by this product. i hadn`t heard much about it, but decided to pick it up anyways. i am really glad i did!
i will start with the negative things about this product first for a change kind of switch it up.
firstly i was shocked when i first used this tinted moisturizer. the scent it has is AWFUL, no joke really bad. i can`t even describe it. but luckily the smell is no longer noticeable once its on your face.
the second negative thing i can think of would be the color selection. there are only 2. i have the fair to light, the other i believe is medium to dark. so this definitely would not work for all skin tones unfortunately.
those were the only negative things i could think of, so i will start with the positive.
the coverage, is at a parallel with most tinted moisturizer. meaning light coverage but enough to even out my skin tone. which for summer is ideal.
it has an spf of 30 and it is also an oil-free product. which is great.
the thing i adore about this tinted moisturizer is that it has natural light reflecting minerals. which really make my skin look radiant and healthy, hence the name. it just looks really natural.
i also find this tinted moisturizer to be decently moisturizing as well and a little of the product goes a long way. it blends into my skin really nicely and easily and never looks patchy. it feels very light-weight on my face.
luckily that even though there are only 2 shades, the fair to light works perfectly for me (i am a NW20 in MAC for reference). but i think someone slightly darker could pull of this shade as well.
overall i think this is an amazing tinted moisturizer, i would even say its on par with the laura mercier and benefit tinted moisturizers!
the price point is amazing as well. i purchased mine at ulta i believe it was around $10 and you get 2.5 fl. oz of product!
i think this may be my new tinted moisturizer of choice for summer!
have you seen this or tried this aveeno tinted moisturizer?
