Automobile: 1921 FORD FOOD TRUCK

This reminds me of modern day food trucks. This is actually a 1921 Kampkar and was probably what inspired the design for RV`s some 30 years later! Samuel Lambert came up with this baby. Never heard of him? He`s part of the Lambert Pharmaceutical Company that created Listerine Mouthwash! This guy really loved the outdoors, so he came up with this design for an automobile that you could use to take your family out camping. It had enough room for a family of 6. It had a stove and plenty of space to store food, clothing, blankets, and whatever else you would need on your trip. It was a mini home you could take anywhere.

Price in 1921: $1,125

Wouldn`t it be fun to go camping with this? Although today, I`d rather hook this up to a truck, drive it out, and then park it somewhere. Even in working conditioning this thing would be SLOOOW.
