While I was visiting Paris, my family and I went to a quaint local restaurant. I have never had this dessert before, since I pictured it to be the least delicate of its kind. The ingredients include egg yolks, granulated white sugar, heavy cream, pure vanilla extract, and granulated white sugar to make the caramelized tops. I think that everyone should try this, atleast once in their lifetime, because it is such a classic. There aren`t too many flavours vying and that`s what makes this dessert simply delicious. Also, this actually reminds of the Portuguese custard tarts I once had as a child.
