I meant to post this a few days ago, but Luuux isn`t working properly on my laptop, so now I`m posting from my desktop. I have a few more late posts that I`ll try to get up right after this as well.
Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Roller: I decided to try this on a blemish/redness on a whim (rather than the under eye area, which is what I exclusively used it for before), and I found that it actual works very well for that!
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer in Beige: I`ve been using this on my under eye area. I was expecting it to be sheer, but it`s actually very opaque.
Benefit They`re Real! Mascara: I`ve been using this mascara for quite a while now, which says a lot because I usually like to switch them up.
Maybelline Define-a-Brow Pencil: After using different brow products for a while, I`ve been using this one the most lately.
MAC Supercontinental Blush: I just recently got this, but included it here anyway because it is the only blush I`ve used since then.
MAC Eyeshadows in Blanc Type, Patina, Woodwinked, and Mulch: I neglected my MAC shadows for a while, but I`ve been reaching for them a lot lately.
MAC Wholesome Fluidline: I love that this is a super dark brown/almost black shade, so it works with pretty much every look.
OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest: I really love this shade. I recently posted swatches of it, if you haven`t seen them already and want to see what it looks like on the nails. I used a couple bottle of the
L`Oreal Clean Artiste Eye Makeup Remover (the formula for waterproof makeup) a while ago, but then never saw it in stores again, so I made sure to get a bottle when I finally found it again. I love it! I find that it removes eye makeup much better than other removers and it doesn`t sting my eyes.
Dove Dry Shampoo: This stuff smells amazing! Even if I don`t need to make my hair look cleaner, I love it for the smell! It`s definitely the best smelling dry shampoo I`ve ever used.
Kelly Van Gogh Wonderlust: I got this in a Birchbox and really like it. It makes my hair look really shiny and it`s supposed to protect color treated hair.
Alterna UV+ Fade-Proof Fluide: I also got this from Birchbox. Again, it`s to protect color treated hair. It makes my hair feel soft.
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment: I bought a bottle of this a while ago and ran out, but I finally got it again for free with an Ulta rewards voucher. I always use this after I wash my hair. It makes it feel much healthier. And now for my flop of the month... I got the Physician`s Formula Shimmer Strips Nude Palette for $10.99 and got $7 extra bucks back, so I essentially only paid like $4 for it, thank goodness. I thought the packaging was adorable, I am a neutral fiend, and I typically love PF products, so I had high hopes for this, but I was let down. The shadows swatch really nicely and seem pretty pigmented, but when I tried to apply them to my eyes (even over primer and a cream base), they just didn`t work out. I only tried it that one time, so maybe I`ll have to give it another shot, but until then, this is a flop for me. Which products did you like (or really dislike) during August? *All pictures and written content are my own, from http://heatherannsbeautystash.blogspot.com/2012/08/august-favorites-flop.html.*
