I will not consider myself someone who has a sweet tooth. In fact, I only like certain types of sweets at certain times of the day. Yes, I am very strange and picky when it comes to eating candy. My friend and I decided to stop by an Asian grocery store today to pick up some bubble tea. But while we were there, I saw these milk candies and thought I should give them a try.
I always find Asian candy to be the most interesting since they are nothing like the candy or sweets you find here in North America. At first, I was unsure what type of candy these were until I read Milk Candy. Thank goodness for English translations! They were only $2, so I thought why not.
I was surprised at how soft these candies were. They were very chewy and sweet. These sweets reminded me of the White Rabbit Candies that I tried before, except there was no rice paper, and I found it to be softer. I will say that these Milk Candies were way too sweet for my liking. But after awhile, my taste buds got used to it and it didnt seem so sweet. I may consider buying these again if I am craving something sweet. If you enjoy White Rabbit Candies, then you may consider trying these.
Have you tried White Rabbit Candies before? What is your favourite Asian candy?
