Asian donuts are VERY different than Western ones.
For one thing, they`re a lot less sweet and they`re smaller in comparison.
I remember being in Shanghai for a good 2 months and the first thing I missed were the Tim Hortons Strawberry Donuts. Now I know why people buy 2 dozen in the terminal and bring them all back to China.
Anyways, there`s more variety in Asian donuts, most have some form of jam on top and they look more "cute" rather than your standard circle.
But after trying some, I still miss the Tim Hortons donuts, maybe because I`ve gotten accustomed to the taste?
However, it`s always nice to see how different cultures see popular snack foods.
