This is a must have in my cupboard. My mom used to use this to make red bean soups and mochi, but I still haven`t learned how to make those from her. I use this to cook red bean rice sometimes. We eat rice a lot, it`s what we have for dinner most nights, and that can get boring after a while. Sometimes I`ll add these mashed red beans in before I steam the rice, mix it, and then it makes the rice sweet with the textures from the mashed red beans. I love it!
This also tastes really good dipped with bread in the morning. I kind of use it like jam :) In the summer, I put this on top of shaved ice or vanilla ice cream. These are my basic uses for it, so I always have this in my cupboard.
