I was really excited to go back home for spring break and do some thrifting because back at school there are like no good thrift stores at all :/ I usually don`t find anything at the salvation army by my house but totally lucked out and got some (in my opinion) great things!
First up are some white open toe heels from Aldo! I was so surprised to find these because I have some tiny feet (5.5) and normally can`t find anything in my size let alone Aldo. These are in pretty good condition and they feel really comfortable. I`m so happy I found these cuz they were on my Spring fashion list of things to get. Originally $9.99 but got it for $4.99 such a steal!
Next I found this really cute dark navy blue reptile textured clutch. It`s really structured and has mettalic foots to stand on its own. It`d be perfect for a night out or when I wear something edgy/ rocker chic. Originally $5.99 but on sale for $2.99.
Next are some Old Navy tan shorts. I usually have a hard time findin shorts because I`m weary of showing my upper thighs and because I`m short bermuda cuts make me appear really really short and stumpy. Originally $3.99 on sale for $1.99.
Second to last are these forest green Banana Republic 3/4 length t-shirt. Dark green is really good against darker skin tones. Originally $2.99 on sale for $1.50.
Lastly I got this cute halter blue-white tank top. It reminded me of a nautical theme. It has a built in padded bra. This was also on my spring finds list. Originally $4.99 on sale for $2.50.
So total was $14 + tax and I`m really happy with my purchases.
Tip: Although it`s a given to wash thrifted clothes don`t forget to use disinfectants such as rubbing alcohol on shoes, jewelry and other accessories.
Have you ever gone thrifting?
