Apple will be emailing all of the iPad 3 buyers in Australia to offer them a refund as a consumer watchdog accused them of false advertising over an specification of the product. It was advertised that the new iPad would be 4G mobile data network compatible, but unfortunately due to a technical incompatibility, the iPad 3 cannot connect with any of the networks over the next week. This is such a shame because I bet some people bought it for work use like my fiance did so he could use it at work and carry it around and not have to use his macbook all of the time.
Would you want a refund if you bought the iPad 3 and it wasn`t 4G mobile data network compatible?
Do you think whoever messed this up in design/production should be fired?
