Tim Cook, Apple`s CEO, made it clear that for now has no interest in venturing into the console market and compete against Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft.
"Gaming has evolved somewhat. More and more people play on portable devices. We`ll see which direction we go in the future. Consumers love games, but I`m not interested in the market for game consoles, what is thought to be the traditional gaming," Cook said at the conference D10.
Although it has no involvement in the market for consoles, iPhone / iPod Touch and iPhone devices are increasingly popular in video games, and already has titles from Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Epic Games and other producers / publishers who bet mainly in the traditional market gaming.
