-1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
-3/4 cup white sugar
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-2 teaspoons baking powder
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/3 cup vegetable oil
-1/3 cup milk
- peeled, cored and mashed

-1/2 cup butter, cubed
-1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon Tools;
-"Pam" or Muffin Liners-Muffin Pan Directions;
Step One;Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease six muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
Step Two;Stir together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Then mix in oil, egg and milk. Fold in apples. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups (do not fill to the top. the muffins will rise and make a huge mess in your oven)
Step Three; In a small bowl, stir together topping sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon. Mix together with fork and sprinkle over unbaked muffins.
Step Four; Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick (or a fork) inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.
