Instead of paying $6-$15 for clarifying shampoos why not just use Apple cider vinegar? yes it may not smell good, but its well worth it! If you have dry, dull, curly hair or you have a lot of product build up or both than this is the rinse for you!
Apple cider vinegar purifies the hair; removing product build-up from the hair and scalp. It adds softness, body and shine.
Its a natural product, it costs just pennies, and most of us probably already have it in our pantry.
**Make sure that you use apple cider vinegar, not white distilled vinegar. Apple Cider Vinegar has a brownish tint, white vinegar is clear.
**depending on your hair type, length and thickness youre going to need more than some people. so if you have short to shoulder length hair and your hair is not so thick, just use a 1/4 cup. if you have shoulder length to really long hair, use 1 cup. if your hair is either of the two but thick and/or curly than you 1 and 1/4 cup.
** i suggest doing this over the sink so you wont get it into your eyes when in the shower. but shampoo your hair first and then add the treatment. if you want you can let it sit in your hair for 5 minutes.massage it into your scalp and use wide tooth comb to evenly distribute it!
**Rinse it out with luke warm water. Condition like you normally would. rinse with cold water to seal the hair cuticle and add shine!
NOTE: your hair may smell like vinegar for a few days or a couple of hours. but it should go away and you shouldn`t smell like a salad for too long!
