It is so rare that Anthropologie has free shipping, so when they do I always feel compelled to buy a few things on my wishlist. If you become an Anthro member they will notify you about the two free shipping periods a year, and in addition to that you get 20% off on your birthday. I follow a blog called Effortless Anthropologie and she always writes a post about sales, free shipping, and she lists the items that have been newly marked down. I do recommend this blog if you`re a fan of Anthropologie.
I purchased two things. You needed to spend $100 to qualify for free shipping.
Gilded Estate Skirt ($69.99)
Crochet Panel Top ($49.99)
Both of these pieces went on sale, so although I thought it was still expensive, the original prices were even crazier! The Gilded Estate Skirt went on a second sale this week, so it was $39.99! I was so upset because I had already had it for 16 days, and Anthropologie only provides price reductions within 14 days from the day it shipped. It was alright because they were sold out of my size, so it wouldn`t have mattered if I had bought it during the second marked down. I love this skirt! It`s a beautiful cobalt blue with a rococo style design, it reminds me of tapestry and architecture in Europe during the Ancient world. I am excited to wear this for work! The Crochet Panel top is something that I thought would make a cute beach cover up. It has strips of crochet down the center and back, but I was surprised it`s not as see through as I thought it would be. The material is a soft silk, and the sleeves flow really beautifully. I am excited to get some wear out of this pieces too.
