Last Week I was hearing some buzz on Instagram, YouTube, and Luuux about these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. I have always been interested in the Tart Lipsurgence kit, but I never got around to buying them and since I heard these were similar and cheaper I wanted to try them out. I was talking to the lovely Mica G. on twitter about getting them and wanted to know if she had some since she was talking about the CVS coupon deal going on last week, but since I have a Rite Aid closer to me I thought I would go there. I did end up finding the display, but just like any new and popular drugstore product, most of the items on the display were gone. I really had my heart set on getting the one called Honey, but it was gone. I really wanted to try one or two out so since someone had opened one of the colors, I did something a little naughty because I swatched it to check out the consistency for myself. The color was Darling and it is the soft lavender shade. There is no way I would of every gone for a purple toned lip color, but if it wasn`t for that swatch I would have never given this one a second look. I actually was pleased with the color when I swatched it so I decided to buy one that wasn`t opened to see how it would look on my lips. The next color I picked up was Lovesick which is the fuchsia color.
My cousin and I went on to look at the new nail polishes from different brands and let me just say I am so happy that Rite Aid is now carrying Color Club! I didn`t get any because I wasn`t in love with the colors from the new collections they had on display. I was more excited to see the new Wet n Wild polishes that are FINALLY at my Rite Aid....I was going to get 2 shades that I did not have yet, but theeeeennn I ran into the new display of Julie G. nail polishes!! I was so excited and I put down the WnW. I was seriously about to go craaazyy because a lot of the colors were so pretty, but I had to contain myself and only got 2 this time since I want to try them out and see what the formula is like before I purchased more. I got a mint color called Gelato in Venice and a bright coral color called Bikini....it is a lot brighter in person than in the picture.
Revlon lippies were $8.99, but I got them on sale for buy one get one 50% off.
Julie G. nail polishes were $3.99 each.
Have you tried any of these items yet? How do you like them?
