Literally during the weekends, 85C Bakery Cafe is wrapped around the corner of the store. I would highly recommend going on weekdays toward the evening for little to no line. My boyfriend and I have been craving Marble Taro (the purple round loaf of bread has taro filling inside) lately. We literally visited 85C Bakery twice last week and it was packed! Last night, we were able to finally go inside! We ended up a few of our favorites plus some new ones to try.
What we bought?
- (2) Marble Taro which is one of our favorites!
- (1) Coconut Twist
The new ones we bought to try?
- (1) 85C Coffee Bread
- (1) Cranberry Danish
- (1) Boroh Cream Danish
Thoughts? The marble taro and coconut twist remains are top favorite from the batch we bought. I ended up spending like $11 bucks and some change for 6 items which isn`t bad at all. Also, there`s a current promotion at my local 85C Bakery Cafe if you spend $10 or more, you can get a coffee/tea for $1, but the line was long so I didn`t take up on the offer. Also, in my opinion - the pastry/breads aren`t good as left overs even if you reheat so from now, my boyfriend and I will just buy enough for the day to eat/share because the left overs weren`t that great. We prefer fresh out of the oven and served warm from the store!
Have you ever tried 85C Bakery? What`s your favorite?
