Angel Falls in Venezuela are the world`s highest waterfall having a height of 979 metres. This watefall drops over a cliff on the Mount Auyantepui and feeds into the Kerep River. The falls were named after Jimmie Angel who was the first person to fly over the falls. To get to Angel Falls, one must fly to Canaima camp and then travel up river which can only be done from June to December as the river is too low during the dry season for travel up river in other months. As you can see climbing and base jumping are some of the actvities besides hiking and walks you can do here. I get motion sickness and I am kind of a scaredy cat so I probably wouldn`t do the base jumping for sure and would probably barf on my way down or when I got down, but the climbing may be as long as I don`t look down and I make sure my harness is secure err lol.
Would you ever go base jumping or climb up the side of a waterfall?
