I purchased stuff from American Apparel a long while ago (like...oh, let`s say...in January), tried them on and never wore them again until this past weekend. Ok, so I told a little lie...I didn`t wear them for the whole day (it was WAY too cold out), but I wanted to try them on with an outfit idea I had in mind for it. So I put on my face, and looked at my woredrobe options, and BAM! Like I just smacked a fly on the wall, the idea came to me. =)
The first thing I put on was, of course, the AWESOME riding pants that you can get from American Apparel website or go to one of their MANY stores. Then I slapped on a black spaghetti strap tank from FOREVER 21. Tucked it in the pants...saw my classic blue button up top (that I`ve only wore twice) from Ann Taylor. I thought I was ready to go. But what am I going to walk on? Definitely NOT bare footed...so I slapped on my FAVORITE pair of buckled-laced boots from Spring (now on sale). And the look was COMPLETE! =D
About the sizing of the riding pants, I wear a 26 in Forever 21 = size 0 in Abercrombie = size 3 in Hollister = size 2 in Express...and I had to get these riding pants in a Medium, cause I just couldn`t breathe in a small LMAO. *sigh* =/ The riding pants now come in a larger array of colors than back when I had purchased it, so YAY to more options! Also please note that in my outfit, my blue button up was WAY too big for me, so it looked great having it stick out a little on the top of the pants. It also makes the look though, since the riding pants are super skin tight, the loose button up shirt will balance it out.
