My coworker brought in some shortbread cookies from San Francisco to share with us.
Each cookie was individually wrapped due to being dipped in chocolate so it would not be messy to eat =)
The shortbread cookies were made with almond flour and almond slices, which explained why there was such a strong almond taste to it. It was very good though, because the shortbread melted in your mouth and the almond gave it a rich nutty flavor and crunch.
The chocolate melted completely when it was in your mouth and it was very rich and creamy, which blended with the shortbread cookie very well.
I wish we had chocolate dipped shortbread cookies here, they were amazing!
