Ok, I don`t watch too much sports but I think this was a good article. Puerto Rico`s professional basketball league is interested in Allen Iverson to star in their team coming March. They offered to pay Iverson at least $20,000 a month plus cost of living. I think that is a pretty good deal but who I am to know. Heck, he probably makes more with the NBA.
But since the judge has ordered that he get his wages garnished for a loan he still owe debt to, he might as well take the contract and get paid. I don`t think the USA can do anything if you earn wages outside of the US, oh damn but isn`t Puerto Rico is considered part of the US? LOL.
I know a lot of players like to go and play oversea during off seasons to make extra cash and to stay on top of their game but I don`t know what will become of this.
What do you think?
Great or bad idea?
