Recently a lot of people have been asking me what foundation to use for aging skin. This can be a difficult choice to make because you need to know the facts. Aging skin is constantly loosing it`s moisture which can make skin very dry and dehydrated. Because aging skin can get dehydrated and dry very easily, anybody with aging skin should opt for a liquid foundation. A powder (pressed or loose) will absorb the moisture in skin leaving skin very dry. Many people believe that people with aging skin should be using a tinted moisturizer. The thing about tinted moisturizers are that they provide very minimal coverage so this is not ideal for someone with aging skin looking to help minimize they`re appearance of wrinkles.
Another thing to look for when picking out a foundation for aging skin, is one with an SPF. An SPF in a foundation is always important but as we age it becomes even more important. The sun`s harmful UV rays cause wrinkles very quickly so an SPF is a must.
All in all, picking out a foundation for aging skin isn`t that hard to do, as long as you follow the simple tips above. Good luck!
