This is my lunch of the day! Breakfast for lunch! I finally made it back to the gym after a 2 week hiatus, while I waited to see my doctor regarding my hernia. Once being cleared to go back, as long as I watched for any signs of pain, I went to zumba early this morning. Upon returning home I found I started grazing on randomness, primarily carbs, which just make me a raving, eating lunatic if I eat them alone. So I decided I needed something with protein to pack a punch -- so I went with what I know best, breakfast food! I cooked up 3 slices of Canadian bacon -- I used Oscar Meyer brand, 2 slices of light Italian toast with spray butter on them, and 1/2 cup egg beaters scrambled with garlic, red and green peppers, pepper, italian seasoning and a little sea salt. When done cooking I put some hot sauce and a little drizzle of ketchup on them. Yes, I eat my eggs with ketchup on them! It did the trick, filled me up and kept me from scrounging around in the kitchen like a hungry animal.
