Aerie Haul And First Impressions And Online Review

Aerie is not where I shop often but I really like their stuff. They carry really cute bras and undies and their brand is targeted more for the younger female population. Since I don`t have time to go in stores at the mall, I decided to shop online instead. The pieces I got are more of a basic haul in terms of the neutral/everyday colours.

First Impressions:

- I decided to get two nude bras and one black one. I also got one grey bralette. I have tired their bras in the past and I like them more than Victoria`s Secret bras. In the past I`ve bought more fun and colorful bras but this time I decided to balance my bra collection with more neutral colours.

- Eight pairs of the cheeky seamless undies. I really like seamless undies since they are super light and comfy by other brands. I haven`t tried their seamless undies before but I`m guessing they are well made. I decided to get five black pairs, one grey pair and two buff coloured ones. Hopefully these are really comfy and seamless.

- Lastly I got the famous blanket scarf in buff. I have seen many pictures online of girls wearing different coloured blanket scarves and of them all, I really like the buff coloured one. This scarf is plaid with various coloured strips. I`m super excited to rock this and it will keep me warm with the crazy and cold weather here in Canada.

Online Review:

- This is my very first time ordering from them online. At the time when I placed my order online, shipping was free. I noticed that they offer free shipping many times, which is great since I think they charge $15 if you place an order from $0-$49.99 and free shipping for anything over $49.99. From my experience, I found that it takes two business days for my order to be processed and five business days for it to show up at my house. They ship via Canada Post and only offer Standard Shipping. The only thing I absolutely dislike about this online shipping experience was having to pay a 18% duty fee (manually calculated this). This really sucks since we Canadians already have to pay more than the US prices and on top of that we have to pay duties. I find it unreasonable to pay for duties when you can find the exact same products in stores! I really wish AE would consider removing the duty fee for Canadian orders since it is unfair.

Overall I`m semi-pleased with my haul except for the fact that I had to pay for duties for items that I could pick right up in stores where I live.

Have you purchased Aerie products before?
