It has suddenly gotten a lot colder here in Toronto and I actually started to not like wearing 5" heels.
Most of the jeans I buy, I buy them in the extra long cut so that they look great with my heels, however, they`re not so great when I`m wearing flats as they tend to fold in weird and awkward shapes and they drag on the floor.
So I decided to go to American Eagle after work yesterday and I bought two pairs of my favorite jeans, the Artist Jean, in Regular cut. One in dark rinse and the other in denim rinse.
I now own 8 pairs of American Eagle jeans! I have the two of the same pairs in the same washes, except one is the regular cut and one is the long cut.
Personally, I hate their skinny jeans because they don`t help you look skinny, they add on some weight as the denim is very thick. I love their jeggings and when its really cold next month, I will probably pick some more up.
For now, the Artist jean will do. It has a very flattering cut. The top is very narrow and there`s some slight flare at the bottom, perfect for running shoes or flats. The one thing I don`t like is their bum area. My bum is not big nor wide and even at size 00, there`s a huge gap at the top. I guess it`s time to look into some Hollister and A&F jeans as their sizes run smaller.
Overall, I still love AE jeans though, they last a long time and the quality is good. Completely worth my $70.
