Two patents filed by Nintendo revealed what may be accessories for the Wii U.
The first is very similar to a dock used by 3DS, which would be used to recharge the battery from the tablet-control console. The device would be attached through an inlet at the bottom.
The second concept is kind of a Wii Zapper to the new platform. In order to make games with more realistic shooters, the Wii controller U would be fitted to a plastic support, which has buttons and sensors, plus a pad much like the Nunchuk, which already exists today.
The existence of two devices, however, was not officially confirmed by Nintendo. The registration of patents does not always mean that the registered products really come into production, but can it is a mere protection of intellectual property.
