This is how I spent my Saturday. Remember how indecisive I said I was? For the longest time, I had so many ideas how to decorate my entry way but I never followed through. I didn`t know which direction I wanted to go. Do I want a table? Maybe just a shelf? Blah, blah, blah.
I finally started looking online for some inspiration. It must be my chevron bathroom mat that really has me obsessed right now. So I looked up how to paint a chevron pattern and went at it.
I would have to say that prepping took the most time. If you re going to attempt this, make sure you draw out a plan. Take your measurements and figure out the width of the zig zags that you want. I used left over paint from my kitchen wall and bought a small paint roller.
The wall I choose to paint is very small but a focal point in my home. It can be seen from the livingroom, from the hallway to the bedrooms and most importantly, it is the entry way, so I see it when I come in and as I leave.
But now that I have it all painted, I still need to figure out if I want a little entry table or a floating shelve. There is still plenty of work to be done to my place. I`d like to hear if you have any suggestions.
