A few kilometers from Gaia Biological Park, the Zoo St. Ignatius is a broad area of 50 hectares although only 12 visitable area currently has over one thousand animals, 300 species from five continents. The range includes everything from penguins to pygmy hippos, past kangaroos, panthers-the-snow or European lynx. Here the animals are sentimental and transmit a lot of tenderness to those who visit them, which always ends up being in love with the sweet air that animals communicate. And they are smaller animals that can more easily gain the public. In addition, the zoo Ignatius organizes guided tours, summer camps, birthday parties and, most recently, a visit to the house-museum of the nineteenth century, reopened in March after restoration work.
