OK, so days ago I got my first ELF products on the mail, I am building a cheap makeup kit for cheap paying people so I wanted something really cheap, and considering that ELF has the only 6$ foundations (3$ if you get it with a coupon like i did) with a wide enough range to fit people of dark skintones I decided to go for it. And I promised all you gals I`d give every product a review from a professionals point of view.
As I was browsing I got these bronzers from the Essential line, at 1$ each, so I figured id give them a try and I bought all 4 of them.
It feels and looks very cheap for sure, you can actually see the glue of the pan in the bottom of it, and I am not liking the tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny sticker that says the name of the product. But this is of no great great relevance.
(Swatched in my fingers from left to right: Matte Bronze, Warm Tan, Sun Kissed, Luminance. All in an pretty heavy deposit)
I`d say they are very nicely ranged, and the Luminance shade is a perfect highlight color, theyre not too orange as some bronzers out there. So yeah I like that. The pigmentation is quite nice too. The only maybe little downturn about it in my use is that they are quite shimmery and since I do lots of male model makeup, this doesnt look good on them, except for the Matte Bronze shade.
They go on quite smoothly, I actually used one on me using my fingers as applicators and it gave me a nice effect. I dont know how much they last on the skin just yet, but as far as the photoshoot is concerned, no touchups were needed.
This is just 1 dollar... and its a FANTASTIC value for the price it has, and my only downturn should be of no concern to girls... so yes.. I as a professional makeup artist, recommend this totally!
Hope my review helps
