OK... enough ELF... for now ;) Time to move on to something a little bit more high-end. I bought this powder for my personal use. Now that I am halfway through the laser hair removal process, I don`t need heavy makeup anymore!! Long gone are the days of Dermablend Cover Cream as foundation and MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation as powder! I used to wear 2 foundations... that`s sad that is so sad !!
Anyways let`s get down to bussiness and ill break it off in steps as I usually do:
Square and elegant! I don`t really like to have the powder puff it comes with sitting permanently on top of the powder, I prefer the MAC compact where u store it below the product. I dont know, I just feel its more sanitary, and it does come with a plastic film protector, but it`s hell trying to get it out !
It comes in 7 shades:
I do apologize to you gals that I am only going to review one shade cuz its the only one I have, I bought it for personal use, not for clients or models. The color is Soft Sand, I am a MAC NC35 for reference. It suits me very nicely, and its yellow toned, my skin is yellow toned and its hell trying to find good yellow toned skin shades. And aaaaall of Bobbis foundations and powders are yellow toned, she believes that no mater your skin tone it will look the most natural... and I as a professional, agree with her, unless we are talking about male makeup.
Its just what the title says: SHEER... ultra sheer, It wont hide any imperfections, but it will help on warming up your complexion a little. This powder can not be used to cover imperfections, If you are looking to use this, you will have to leave the covering to the foundation, as this is used as i would describe it: a sheer setting powder with a nice warming up complex.
I love how when I wore it alongside the now discontinued *sob* Diorskin Forever Extremewear Flawless foundation, i felt like I had nothing on. I also wore with her Skin Foundation, but the coverage to say the least was very little, and I am not on that point yet where I can get away with that, but if you have good skin.. Youll LOVE IT as I do. It is very long lasting, i rarely had to touch up and your face doesnt look powdery at all. I apply it with a powder brush when doing my regular makeup and touch up with the puff.
The powder is 35$... pretty expensive if you ask me, and tho i did get it for less because of her Pro discount, it is still more expensive than MAC, which was my powder before this, despite this, it will be the powder I will keep on using for me, I like the way it feels, the way it looks, and the way it matches my skin.
Hope my review helps :)
