My Two Cents: Once again A England caused me to stumble into things because I was distracted by their amazing, sparkly, nail polish on my nails. I even have the bumps and bruises to prove it. Can you tell that I loved Saint George as much as Lady of the Lake and Dragon? I honestly cant say enough good things about Saint George and A England in general. Saint George is such a rich beautiful green (Im a total sucker for green), that also tends to appear more blue-green in sunlight and dont even get me started on the micro-glitter. Although the holographic effect of this one is a little more subtle than Lady of the Lake and Dragon, its still very present and does not disappoint.
I wore this one for six days in total and only experienced very minimal chipping toward the end. Mind you I am very hard on my nails and most of those days were spent traveling around Munich by bicycle and snapping my bike lock and bike lights on and off, which caused me to check to make sure Saint George was still in tact on my nails each time.
Not only can I hardly wait to get my hands on Tess DUbervilles specifically, another gorgeous green, but I cant wait to add even more A England to my collection as well. I really look forward to what they come out with in the future because quite frankly, I am so sold on their products. Suffice it to say, A England will forever have a loyal customer and enthusiast in me.
*Application Side Note: First of all I would like to explain why I wasnt able to rate the application of Saint George. As you may remember, A England had a promo over the summer on their Mythicals collection, and it was way back then that I ordered this along with three other colors. So to make a long story short this was in my stock pile and I busted it out before heading to Oktoberfest the weekend before last and put it to use for the first time. Sadly I found that the brush was a bit wonky which made application much more unpleasant and difficult than it had been with my two previous polishes from A England. I sucked it up and got on with it and just had to do a lot of clean up which I hadnt had to do with any of their other polishes. I thought I would just send an e-mail and Tweet them and much to my surprise, they replied to my Tweet almost right away letting me know that the following Monday that they would send me a new brush, which arrived this morning. Therefore I dont think its fair for me to judge the application based on that initial experience, because quite frankly I dont think it had anything to do with the formula but rather a fluke defect with the brush.
