A Different Type of Hummus

Does anyone like hummus? I love eating hummus with pita chips or carrot sticks. It is made from mostly chickpeas (some call them garbanzo beans). I found this recipe and can`t wait to try it. It is a different take on your regular hummus, which is usually just chickpeas and olive oil and spices, but this one has garlic and pumpkin - YUM! Here is the recipe and I`ll post a pic when I make it!

Chili Garlic Pumpkin Hummus

3 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 heaping tablespoon tahini
2 cloves garlic
1/2 to 3/4 cups water
1 to 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
sea salt to taste

Blend all the ingredients (starting with just 1/3 cup water) together in food processor until the mixture is very smooth, about 5 minutes. Add more water to thin if needed, and adjust salt and chili garlic sauce to taste. Chill in fridge for at least 2-3 hours before serving.
