Every year after Christmas, my boyfriend and I hit up Macy`s and we buy literally a year supply of remote control electronics (trucks and helicopters)! Why? On our spare time, it`s pretty fun to play when we`re bored, the kids love them (we don`t have kids but cousins, nieces and nephews) plus they`re 65-75% off original price which is awesome! Sadly, no coupons apply but they`re a good deal regardless and this deal still is going on at your local Macy`s - limited supply last though!
What we ended up purchasing?
- Protocol TurboHawk Alpha 3 Channel Remote Control Helicopter - This is ideal for indoors in smaller spaces. The con is it uses batteries and they`re not included - you charge the plane by battery which isn`t convenient. Batteries aren`t cheap unless you use rechargeable batteries!
- Protocol Remote Control Helicopter - This is a good plane, my boyfriend has the older version from last year and it still works. To charge this helicopter all you do is use your a usb via your computer! This helicopter flies high, ideal for indoor use. Outdoor if you have a lot of room but the wind blows this helicopter because it`s light. Play time for a full charge is around 15-20 mins.
- Platinum Collection Remote Control Baja Truck - This truck there are 3 kinds available and in 2 different frequencies. If you plan on racing the trucks buy different frequencies (my boyfriend and I didn`t know and bought the same and turns out 1 remote and control both cars = no racing = no fun) but the car is fast and can go on dirt/rocks/grass/cement/ as well as indoor! The battery for this car is rechargeable which is a huge plus!
