The 3D printing is becoming a reality ever closer. The Solidoodle, company led by Samuel Cervantes, who worked at MakerBot, seems to have brought this concept even closer to the average user`s computer. The company is launching a handset, just for this type of task.
One of the major barriers to the acquisition of 3D printers was the very high cost. Not so with the apparatus of Solidoodle. The product is in pre-sale and can print files up to six inches. Moreover, it also functions as a common printer functional documents "normal" of your computer.
The video project, released by its creators on YouTube, is a success. The images were published and, in just over a week now total more than 32,000 views. In the video, Cervantes explains how impressions are made and gives some examples of model files in three dimensions that can leave the Solidoodle.
