Here we have a vivacious, refreshing and smooth sorbet. This is a simple recipe for Strawberry Sorbet in 3 hours with only 3 ingredients. The active prep time is maybe 5 minutes.
Wash and hull a pound of strawberries. (Just take a small paring knife and insert into the top of the strawberry. In a circular motion, cut and remove the stem.)
Add the strawberries to a blender (or food processor) along with
2 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Puree and pour into a freezer safe container. Set your timer for three hours. You don`t want the sorbet to freeze completely. (Though if it does freeze entirely, that`s fine. You can set it in the fridge for a little bit to soften.) You will get smooth scoops of rich, vibrant strawberry sorbet.
If you want to make this more adult, add a little clear rum to the blender.
If the seeds bother you, before freezing, place a fine mesh sieve over your freezer safe container and pour.
